Medical

On Wednesday, April 11, at 7:45 a.m., Campus Safety responded to a call regarding a student in need of medical attention in Nelson Hall.Officers responded to the scene and offered assistance until paramedics arrived.The student declined transport to a hospital and was released by paramedics.

Drugs and alcohol

On Friday, April 13, at 12:04 a.m., Campus Safety responded to the 2000 block of South Clayton per the request of Denver Police Department (DPD). Upon arrival, Campus Safety met with DPD and three students. The students were involved in a fight and a neighbor had called DPD. The students admitted to drinking and one was transported by paramedics to Porter Hospital due to their level of intoxication. The other two were released and no injuries were reported.

On Friday April 13, at 12:56 a.m., Campus Safety responded to the 1900 block of East Asbury Avenue after the DPD requested they come to the scene. Upon arrival, Campus Safety met with DPD and one student. The student was cited by DPD with underage consumption of alcohol and then released.

Harrassment

On Thursday, April 12, at 6:42 p.m., Campus Safety responded to the Daniels College of Business regarding a dispute between two staff members. Upon arrival, Campus Safety spoke with the reporting staff member who stated they felt threatened by a disgruntled employee. The employee was told to contact Campus Safety if the employee returned back to work.

Theft

On Thursday, April 12, at 11:16 a.m., Campus Safety responded to the Follett Bookstore regarding a shoplifter. Upon arrival, Campus Safety learned a student had attempted to steal a textbook. DPD was called and cited the student with shoplifting.

On Tuesday, April 10, at 8:25 a.m., Campus Safety responded to a call from a student in Centennial Towers regarding a theft. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting student who stated they went to sleep at approximately 11:30 p.m. the previous night and when they awoke, their watch and credit cards had been taken from their room. The student was unsure if all of the doors to the room were locked at the time of the theft.
