Pumpkin Nights has returned to amaze spectators once again. Situated near Brighton, Colo., the event is an amazing spectacle of lights, fog, food, events and of course, pumpkins. More than three thousand real and artificial pumpkins make up the walk throughout this maze of fall fun.

Throughout the half-mile stretch, visitors pass through various themed lands. Whether it be pumpkin pirates, a spider’s web, an underwater journey or even the Great Hall from Harry Potter, there is sure to be something to delight everyone.

Every corner offers a unique photo opportunity. Visitors can stroll through colorful hallways lined with pumpkins and lights. At the end of the entire course, guests can feel free to hop on a giant seesaw, catch a movie projected on a giant outdoor screen or take a photo with a magical wizard who congratulates visitors on completing the walk.

Luna Hernandez, a psychology major at Red Rocks Community College, was pleasantly surprised by the event.

“It’s cool how family friendly it is,” Hernandez said. “There was no sense of craziness that comes with most fairs, and it just had a more intimate and individual atmosphere.”

Despite the calm atmosphere, there is still an abundance of food and beverage vendors in the large outdoor courtyard area. People can grab a hot chocolate to warm themselves up while they peruse the rest of the activities. Hot dogs, nachos and funnel cakes also add to the line up of treats.

Pumpkin Nights is located at the Adams County Fairgrounds. The attraction will remain open until Nov. 4. Buy tickets online for a cheaper cost and to skip the lines. Pumpkin Nights is definitely an impressive and dazzling event to put on your to-do list this fall season.
