Gay? Fine by Me Week

Several campus organizations including the Center for Multicultural Excellence, the Division of Student Life, the AUSA – Diversity Committee and Athletics and Recreation will be sponsoring the Gay? Fine by Me campaign.

The week-long event is being put on to create awareness of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender issues on campus and to create a queer-positive campus community.

All undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff are invited to join in on the Safezone Training Marathon.

At this event, participants will receive training on homosexual issues including homophobia and sexual identity orientation.

Homeland Security chief

John Fabbrictore, head of Homeland Security and an immigration agent for Colorado, will be speaking today at 7:30 p.m. in Daniels College of Business, room 130.

Issues to be discussed include security in Colorado as well as across the nation.

Study Abroad exhibit

Study Abroad Programs will be putting on its third annual photo contest exhibit this Friday.

The event will be held at the International House from 12:30-1:30 p.m., with the award ceremony beginning at 1 p.m.

The exhibit will display photos taken by study abroad, internatioanl service learning and alternate break participants. Refreshments will be served.

Club swimming

There will be a club swimming interest meeting today at 9 p.m. in Sturm Hall, room 492.

This will be the organization’s first meeting and students of all abilities are welcome.

Service Learning Fair

The Center for Service Learning and Civic Engagement will host its spring fair today in the Driscoll Ballroom from 4:30-6 p.m.
