Solicitor sent off campus

An unwanted party attempting to solicit at the Driscoll Student Center without authorization was expelled from campus on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 2:12 p.m.

The party was cited for trespassing and told not to return to campus.

Students caught with drugs

Six underage DU students and a minor who was not affiliated with the university were caught with alcohol containers, marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 9:34 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19, in a residence hall room in Johnson-McFarlane Hall.

Campus Safety confiscated the illegal items. The Office of Citizenship and Community Standards was notified.

Minor caught with alcohol in Halls

A DU student refused to comply with a resident assistant’s instructions at Centennial Halls on Friday, Feb. 20, at 1:15 a.m.

Campus Safety reported and found that the student was in possession of alcohol containers. The contraband was confiscated, and the Office of Citizenship and Community Standards was notified.

Former student trespasses

A former DU student was found trespassing near Nagel Hall on Friday, Feb. 20, at 1:55 a.m.

Campus Safety and the Police Department caught the former student after responding to the report of a suspicious party. The man was charged with underage intoxication and trespassing and was transported to a detox facility for medical treatment.

Faulty items sold near campus

A DU student reported fraudulent activity to Campus Safety on the 2000 block of East Asbury Avenue on Friday, Feb. 20, at 6:19 p.m.

The student told officers that two unidentified males had sold him electronic equipment out of their vehicle that he suspected to be faulty.

Car vandalized

A student’s vehicle was vandalized in the C lot near Centennial Halls between Feb. 15 and Feb. 21 by person(s) unknown.

The student reported the incident at 4:51 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, and was advised to file a report with the Denver Police Department.

Theft suspect arrested at DU

A DU student was arrested by the Denver Police Department at 2:35 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22 near University Hall as a suspect in a recent theft in Boulder, Colo.

Campus Safety arrived on the scene after seeing DPD on campus. The Office of Community Citizenship and Community Standards was notified.

Student has seizure in dorm

Campus Safety and the Denver Fire Department were called into Nelson Hall on Monday, Feb. 23 at 12:24 a.m. after a student had a seizure in his residence hall room.

Paramedics transported the student to Porter Hospital for treatment.

Inebriated minor sent to detox

A Campus Safety officer encountered a severely intoxicated underage student in the 2000 block of East Asbury Avenue at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20, during a routine patrol.

The student was transported to a detox facility for medical treatment and the Office of Citizenship and Community Standards was notified.
