Career Fair
The Non-Profit and Government Career Fair will be held in Driscoll Ballroom tomorow from 2 – 5 p.m.
It offers the opportunity to meet members associated with federal and local government, community service organizations and human services.

“The 11th Hour” film screening
A screening of “The 11th Hour,” which is a documentary film narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio, will be presented by the DU Enviornmental Team in Davis Auditorium tomorrow at 7 p.m.
The film, a part of the week of events celebrating Earth Day, will be followed by an expert panel which will include associate producer of “The 11th Hour,” Stephen McGuire.
Freedom Seder
A celebration of freedom will be held in the Gottesfeld Room in the Ritchie Center tomorrow from 6:30-9 p.m.
The event, called Freedom Seder, will bring together students, staff and faculty from different cultural perspectives for dinner.
This is the final event of the Coming of Age: Building Respect for the Future Series.
Speaker on disability culture
Speaker and activist Jonathan Mooney will be giving a presentation in Boettcher Auditorium Friday, from 1-3 p.m. about his journey across the U.S. for four months where he explored disability culture and normalcy.
Mooney’s presentation, titled “The Short Bus,” shows how schools, institutions and public policy enforce normalcy.
Greek Life yard sale
Greek Life will be hosting a Yard Sale open to the community on Friday, from 12-2:30 pm.
All proceeds will benefit The Spot, a shelter for homeless and runaway youth in Denver, ages 14-24.
NPR anchor visits Cable Center
The Estlow Center will host an all-day event called Untold Stories: Truth and Consequences on Thursday, from 9:30-5:30 p.m. in the Cable Center.
A luncheon will be held at 11:45 a.m. in honor of Renee Montagne of NPR’s Morning Edition who won the University of Denver’s Anvil of Freedom Award.
Workshops focusing on how mediated storytelling can affect disadvantaged communities by shaping policies and public opinion will continue all day.
