8:45 a.m., a DU staff member requested a Campus Safety officer stand-by during an employee termination at the Ritchie Center. The employee was escorted off university property without incident.
2:40 p.m., an unaffiliated construction worker injured himself at the Performing Arts Center construction site in the 2300 block of South York Street. Campus Safety, Denver Fire Department and paramedics responded. Paramedics transported the injured worker to Denver General Hospital for treatment.
11:45 a.m., a Campus Safety officer reported a rock from a landscaper using a lawn trimmer chipped the windshield of a DU vehicle while driving in the 2100 block of South University Boulevard. Campus Safety Management was notified.
May 3
10 a.m., an unaffiliated adult female reported unknown person(s) stole audio equipment used for concerts from the Ritchie Center. Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.
2:20 p.m., a DU faculty member reported a DU student being disruptive during classes at the English Language Center. Campus Safety responded. English Language staff directed the student to receive counseling before being allowed to return to class.
2:45 p.m., a DU student reported unknown person(s) jumped on the roof of his personal vehicle while parked in Lot H-2, south of Cherrington Hall. Campus Safety responded, completed investigation and advised the student to file a report with DPD.
3:40 p.m., a DU staff member reported unknown person(s) broke a window at Sturm Hall. Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation. Facilities Management notified.
May 4
2:20 p.m., a DU staff member reported an unidentified vehicle struck a barrier pole in Lot C, north of Centennial Halls, damaging the pole. Campus Safety responded and completed investigation. Facilities Management notified.
May 6
8:33 a.m., a DU staff member reported that on May 5 an unidentified adult male was peering underneath the stalls in a women’s restroom at the Daniels College of Business. Campus Safety investigation is ongoing. Denver Police Department assistance was declined.
4:20 p.m., a Campus Safety officer reported a DU student writing on the sidewalk with chalk at the Daniels College of Business. Campus Safety contacted the student and advised her to clean the writing.
