Consisting of passionate DU students largely from the Lamont School of Music, the Denver DIY music scene is alive and well. With house shows nearly every weekend, there is no shortage of original music coming out of DU. Musicians organize, promote and perform in-house shows open to all members of the community. In numbers unseen at any other party, students flock to have fun and enjoy live music written and played by their peers.
