what went right

The Pioneers defeated UC Davis in overtime when freshman Jen Etzel scored with 2:18 remaining on the clock. Sophomore Kara Secora tallied 11 points (six goals, five assists) which was the second highest total in DU history, and a career high.

 

what went wrong

The DU women’s lacrosse team lost to No. 13 Stanford. Stanford outscored the Pioneers 6-1 in the first half and 10-5 in the second half.

men’s tennis (9-12)

what went right

The Pioneers brought their winning streak to six with two wins this past weekend. Yanik Weihs went 2-0 in his single matches.

 

what went wrong

DU tennis continued to inch towards .500 on the season. The win streak has helped their hopes of making a run with SBC Championships around the corner.

what went right

Emma Isberg St. Mary’s beat Anna Chkhikvishvili 6-4, 6-3 at No. 3 singles for the Pioneers lone win when Caroline Schnell was able to win one of three sets against Jenny Jullien of St. Marys.

 

what went wrong

The Pioneers were dominated by St. Mary’s in which only one match was won by DU.
