Nagel Hall, scheduled to open this fall, got a 24,000-pound, copper-covered tower, last Tuesday. The cone-shaped spire is 50-feet tall and 21-feet wide and will match the campus’s signature copper look. The $40 million building will serve as an upperclassmen residence hall, which will include 138 appartments for DU juniors and seniors with a 369-bed capacity. Ralph and Trish Nagel donated $4 million to the construction.
