Trivia buffs and game show fanatics, grab your buzzers: Jeopardy is en route to DU.

Rolling into town with their “Brain Bus,” the Jeopardy Clue Crew will be seeking contestants from the community Wednesday in the Driscoll Ballroom from 2 to 4 p.m.

Equipped with a pre-test for the first 1,000 guests, the Clue Crew hopes to discover potential contestants for the upcoming season of the long-running television game show.

“It’s not necessarily just for college students,” said Susie Eun, the publicity coordinator for the event. “It’s open for everyone to come and tryout.”

For those skilled enough to pass the pretest, the Clue Crew will host call-backs for a formal questionnaire on Thursday.

The Clue Crew will also have games and give-aways during Jeopardy’sr visit to DU. Those attending will have the opportunity to play mock versions of the game show using authentic buzzers, competing for prizes offered by the “Brain Bus.”

Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet on-air talent from Jeopardy during the Clue Crew’s stop at DU. Roving correspondents Kelly Miyahara and Sarah Whitcomb from the game show plan to appear with the “Brain Bus.”

Jeopardy will also visit the University of Colorado-Boulder during its trip through Colorado. Though this is not the show’s first time in Colorado, it is its first appearance at DU.
