Drug stash found
On Saturday, Sept. 16 at 6:00 p.m. a Campus Safety officer was conducting a routine patrol near the Ritchie Center when he discovered a box containing what appeared to be drugs and drug paraphernalia.Campus Safety confiscated the items and completed a report.
Suspicious party
On Saturday, Sept. 16 at 1:36 p.m. a DU staff member reported a suspicious party at the Ritchie Center. The party was contacted by Campus Safety Officers and determined to be affiliated with the Peace Jam organization. The party was later contacted by Federal Agents on-scene and trespassed from campus.
Sexual offender
On Sunday, Sept. 17 at 3:05 a.m. Campus Safety and Denver Police Department responded to the report of a sexual assault in the 1700 block of E. Colorado Avenue. An on-scene investigation revealed the student was sexually assaulted by an unidentified male. Campus Safety and Denver Police Department investigations are ongoing.
Drunk youth
On Sunday, Sept. 17 at 1:20 a.m. Campus Safety was conducting a routine patrol in the 2300 block of E. Iliff Avenue when he observed a party who appeared to be intoxicated. The party was identified as an underage and intoxicated DU student. Campus Safety escorted the student to her residence. The Office of Citizenship and Community Standards will be notified.
Excess vomiting
On Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 12:30 a.m. Campus Safety responded to the report of an ill party at Johnson-McFarlane Hall. An on-scene investigation revealed a DU student was vomiting. The student was transported to Porter Hospital for medical treatment.
Sketch visitor
On Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 11:45 p.m. a DU staff member reported a trespassed party was seen on campus. The party left the area prior to Campus Safety arrival. A Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.
Student assualt
On Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 1:14 a.m. Campus Safety responded to the report of an assault at Johnson-McFarlane Hall. An on scene investigation revealed a DU student was assaulted by another DU student. The victim declined Denver Police Department assistance. The Office of Citizenship and Community Standards will be notified.
