Study abroad fair
The Office of Internationalization is sponsoring a Study Abroad Fair tomorrow.
The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Driscoll Bridge.
Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and collect information about programs all over the world that are affiliated with DU.
Habitat for Humanity
Join the DU Chapter of Habitat for Humanity this Friday in front of Nelson Circle, next to Nelson Hall at 8:15 a.m.
DU chapter members of this organization spend a few days each month working on home building around the metro Denver area, and advocate for affordable housing for all.
Up this week will be going to Lakewood to begin framing and roofing a home that will be worked on by DU students throughout winter and spring quarters.

Polar Bear Run
The University of Denver Programs Board and the University of Denver will present the Seventh Annual Polar Bear Run this Sunday, at 10 a.m. at Washington Park.
The entry fee is $15 for DU students and $20 for non-DU students before race-day.
Race day registration is also available for a cost of $20 for DU students and $25 for non-DU students, and will take place from 9-10 a.m.
All proceeds for this 5K run/walk go to benefit the Bridge Project, an outreach program designed to break the cycle of poverty by providing education and career opportunities to children and adults in Denver’s public housing developments.
Register online with a credit card on Active.com’s web site, www.bkbltd.com by midnight this Friday or in person at any Denver location Runner’s Roost store. In person registrations will also be accepted at the DU Campus Life Office on the third floor of the Driscoll Center, also until this Friday, by 4 p.m.
All participants in the event will receive a long sleeve T-shirt and after-race refreshments will also be provided by the event sponsors.
An awards ceremony will also take place on race day at 11 a.m. to honor the top two male and female finishers in eight different age groups, as well as an overall team spirit award, for a group with the largest amount of participation in the race.

Winter Carnival
DUPB will host the annual Winter Carnival.
The carnival will begin on Sunday with the 5K Polar Bear Run in Washington Park.
The talent show will be Monday from 7-9 p.m. in Sturm auditorium.
Ice skating with the hockey team will be on Tuesday from 7:30-9 p.m in Magness Arena.
The chili cook off will be on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Lastly, DUPB will hold a weekend at Keystone ski resort for the weekend of Feb. 4 – 6. Students must register in groups of six to get dicounts on the condominiums.

Pop and Papa weekend
Feb. 10-11 marks this year’s Dads and Granddads Weekend.
To honor this event, popular musical artist John Hiatt will perform with his daughter Lilly Hiatt in Davis Auditorium in Sturm Hall on Friday, Feb. 10 from 4-5:30 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and are available at the front desks of both Campus Life and The Center.
