Fallen partyOn Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 12:02 p.m., Campus Safety responded to the report of an injured person at Mary Reed. An on scene investigation revealed an unaffiliated party accidentally fell. The party was not injured and declined medical assistance. Risk Management will be notified.

Law vandalOn Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 10:32 a.m., Campus Safety responded to the report of vandalism at the College of Law. An on scene investigation revealed a laptop computer belonging to a DU student was damaged when left unattended in the library. Investigation is on going.

Keyed carOn Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 4:17 p.m., Campus Safety responded to the report of vehicle vandalism in parking lot N. An on scene investigation revealed person(s) unknown scratched the length of the driver’s side of a vehicle belonging to a DU student. Investigation is on going.

Gymnastics injuryOn Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 8p.m., Campus Safety and the Denver Fire Department responded to the report of an injured woman at The Ritchie Center. An on scene investigation revealed an unaffiliated party injured her neck during gymnastics practice. The Denver Fire Department transported the woman to Porter for treatment.

Bashed seniorOn Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 2:15 a.m., Campus Safety and Denver police responded to the report of an intoxicated DU student near Penrose Library. The student was determined of age. However, he was intoxicated. Denver police transported the student to detox.

Suspicious stalkingOn Thursday, Oct. 20, Campus Safety responded to the report of a suspicious man at the Newman Bungalow. An on scene investigation revealed a DU staff member was followed to her vehicle by an unknown man. A Campus Safety investigation is on going.

Counterfeit billOn Thursday, Oct. 20, at 10:29 a.m., Campus Safety and Denver police responded to a report of a counterfeit bill at the Centennial Halls cafeteria. An on scene investigation revealed an unknown person asked a DU staff member to make change for a bill that was determined to be counterfeit. Investigation is on going.

Twisted ankleOn Friday, Oct. 21, at 7:35 p.m., Campus Safety responded to report of an injured person at the Ritchie Center. Campus Safety responded and completed an on scene investigation. The investigation revealed a DU staff member injured her ankle while walking through a construction area. The staff member’s husband, also a university employee, transported her to Porter hospital for treatment in a university-owned vehicle. Risk Management will be notified.

Marijuana aromaOn Saturday, Oct. 22, at 10:47 p.m., Campus Safety responded to a report of an odor of marijuana at Johnson-McFarlane Hall. An on scene investigation revealed the odor of marijuana while officers interviewed two DU students. The students advised Campus Safety there was no marijuana or paraphernalia in the room. They also stated the lingering odor was left over from a party they attended off campus. The Office of Citizenship and Community Standards will be notified.

Intoxicated youthOn Saturday, Oct. 22, at 1:40 a.m., Campus Safety and the Denver Fire Department responded to the report of an intoxicated student at Centennial Halls. An on scene investigation revealed that a DU student was intoxicated. Denver Cares transported the student to detox. The Office of Citizenship and Community Standards will be notified.

Lawn lushOn Sunday, Oct. 23, at 2:20 a.m., Campus Safety was conducting a routine patrol near the Shwayder Arts Building. Campus Safety contacted an underage, intoxicated DU student who was lying on the lawn. Denver Cares transported the student to detox.
