Sloshed and out

On Sunday, Jan. 23, at 2:42 a.m., a Campus Safety officer reported an underage DU student was intoxicated and unconscious in the 2000 block of South University Boulevard. Paramedics responded and transported the student to Porter Hospital for treatment.

Tree bike rack

On Saturday, Jan. 22, at 4 p.m., a DU student reported unknown person(s) stole her bicycle which was secured to a tree outside Johnson-McFarlane hall.

A Campus Safety investigation revealed the bike was stolen as a prank by three DU students. The incident was referred to Citizenship & Community Standards for disposition.

Missing coffee

On Monday, Jan. 24, at 8:09 a.m., a Sodexho employee reported unknown person(s) burglarized a coffee kiosk in Olin Hall. A Campus Safety officer responded, completed an investigation, and advised the employee to file a report with Denver police.

Unattended wallet theft

On Monday, Jan. 24, at 9:30 p.m., an unaffiliated female reported unknown person(s) stole her unattended wallet from Sturm Hall. A Campus Safety officer responded, completed an investigation, and advised the female to file a report with Denver police.

Malfunctioning gate

On Wednesday, Jan. 26, at 4:30 p.m., a Campus Safety officer reported a DU student’s vehicle was damaged by a malfunctioning gate arm in Lot C. Parking Services was notified.

Car crook

On Thursday, Jan. 27, at 8:20 a.m., a DU student reported unknown person(s) stole his personal vehicle while it was parked and unattended in Lot L, north of the College of Law. A Campus Safety and Denver police investigation is ongoing.

Tire heist

On Friday, Jan. 28, at 1:34 a.m., a DU staff member reported unknown person(s) stole a tire from her secured vehicle while it was parked and unattended outside the Ritchie Center. A Campus Safety officer responded and completed an investigation.

Secret identities

On Friday, Jan. 28, at 12:30 a.m., an RA reported two DU students were uncooperative and failed to identify themselves at Nelson Hall. Campus Safety responded and identified the students. The incident was referred to Citizenship & Community Standards for disposition.
