Vehicle vandalOn Friday, Jan. 9, at about 8:30 a.m., an Iliff School staff member reported unknown person(s) vandalizing an Iliff student’s vehicle while it was parked and unattended in Lot A of the Iliff School of Theology. Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation. Denver police assistance was declined.

Underage On Friday, Jan. 9, at about 8:30 p.m., a Sodexho staff member reported an underage DU student and an underage unaffiliated male bringing alcoholic beverages into the Ritchie Center. Campus Safety responded and identified the two individuals. The incident was referred to Citizenship & Community Standards for disposition.

Fake IDs? No…On Friday, Jan. 9, at 8:55 p.m., a Sodexho staff member reported an underage DU student purchased alcoholic beverages using a fraudulent driver’s license and passed one of the beverages to another underage DU student. The incident was referred to Citizenship & Community Standards for disposition.

Struck by a puckOn Friday, Jan. 9, at about 9 p.m., an Argus Security staff member reported an unaffiliated adult female was struck by a puck while watching a hockey game at the Ritchie Center. The female was treated by paramedics on location.

ObliterationOn Saturday, Jan 10, at 2:37 a.m., Campus Safety reported two DU students were intoxicated and disorderly in Lot L, north of the College of Law. Denver police responded and arrested the two students. The incident was referred to Citizenship & Community Standards for disposition.

Bike stolenOn Friday, Jan. 9, at 1:46 p.m., a DU student reported unknown person(s) stole his bicycle from a bike rack at Johnson-McFarlane Hall. The student reported his bike was secured with an appropriate locking device. Campus Safety responded, completed an investigation, and advised the student to file a report with Denver police.

Lock up your PCOn Sunday, Jan. 11, at 12:27 a.m., a DU student reported unknown person(s) stole her laptop computer from her unsecured residence at Centennial Halls. Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.

Kegger in NelsonOn Sunday, Jan. 11, at 12:36 a.m., an RA reported a loud party at a residence in Nelson Hall. Campus Safety responded and entered the room with the RA. About 30 individuals were in the room consuming alcoholic beverages. Campus Safety had the residents of the room discard the beverages and a beer keg was confiscated. The incident was referred to Citizenship & Community Standards for disposition.

Frantic motherOn Wednesday, Jan. 14, a DU student’s mother reported her daughter was suicidal at her residence on campus. Campus Safety, Denver police, and paramedics responded. Paramedics transported the student to Porter Hospital for treatment.

Inebriated froshOn Thursday, Jan. 15, at about 4:30 a.m., an RA reported an underage DU student was intoxicated and ill in a bathroom at Centennial Halls. Campus Safety and paramedics responded. Paramedics transported the student to Porter Hospital for treatment.

Possible hazingOn Wednesday, Jan. 14, at about 1:45 p.m., an unidentified caller reported a possible hazing situation in the 8500 block of Lowry Boulevard, Denver. Campus Safety completed an investigation.

TV takenOn Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 6:25 p.m., a DU staff member reported unknown person(s) stole a television from a classroom at the College of Law. Campus Safety responded, completed an investigation, and advised the staff member to file a report with Denver police.

Forged permitOn Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 5:20 p.m., Campus Safety reported a vehicle, belonging to a DU student, had a forged parking permit. The vehicle was towed to an off-campus location by Bob’s Towing.

Fallen gateOn Tuesday, Jan. 13, at about 3:45 p.m., a DU staff member reported a gate arm came down prematurely and damaged her personal vehicle as she exited Lot C, north of Centennial Halls. Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation. Parking Services was notified.

Possible assaultOn Monday, Jan. 12, a DU student reported another DU student was threatening her at her residence in the 2100 block of East Buchtel Boulevard. Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.

Goodie grabbedOn Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 1:38 p.m., a DU staff member reported unknown person(s) stole a box of chocolates from her secured office at the Daniels College of Business. Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation.
