The Museum of Anthropology had an opening reception on Oct. 3 to promote its new exhibit, “Beautifiers and Healers: Women Muralists of Ile Ife.” This exhibit displays terra chroma and arcrylic paintings by Nigerian shrine painters.

The exhibit will run until Oct. 23. The Museum of Anthropology is located at Sturm Hall, room 102, 2000 E. Asbury Ave. Gallery hours run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For information, call 303.871.2543.

Epperson-Garcia Productions is holding auditions Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. at the Colorado Film School located at 9125 E. 7th Pl., building 905.

Casting is needed for the following lead roles: African-American girl, age 8-11; African-American woman, age 19-25; African-American women, age 45-60; African-American boy, age 6-9.
