Feb. 12

At 12:43 p.m., a Johnson and Wales University student reported an unaffiliated adult male stealing wallets on the Park Hill campus. Campus Safety’s investigation is ongoing.

At 5:35 p.m., a Campus Safety officer reported a former Johnson and Wales Univesity student trespassing in Lot 245, south of the Business and Academic Center. The former student fled after being contacted by Campus Safety. The Johnson and Wales University administration was notified.

Feb. 14

At 2:15 a.m. Campus Safety and the Denver Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Beta Theta Pi fraternity house. The Denver Fire Department determined that it was a false alarm caused by problems with the telephone line.

Feb. 15

At 12:15 p.m. a DU student reported a harassing e-mail from an unknown party. Campus Safety’s investigation is ongoing.

At 3:50 p.m. a DU student reported a suspicious person in the area of the Porter Administration Building. Campus Safety responded and contacted the reporting party, but were unable to locate the suspicious party in the area.

At 2:07 p.m. an unaffiliated delivery van accidentally rolled backwards and struck a tree outside of Foote Hall. There were no injuries and the damage was minor.

Feb. 18

At 9:00 a.m., a Campus Safety officer reported unknown person(s) stole cash from a parking pay station in Lot 316, west of Sturm Hall. Parking Services and Campus Safety Management were notified. Campus Safety’s investigation is ongoing.

At 3:40 p.m., a DU staff member reported a DU student injured herself at the Shwayder Art Building. Campus Safety and paramedics responded. Paramedics transported the student to Porter Adventist Hospital for treatment.

At 4:00 p.m., a Campus Safety Officer reported a suspicious male at the Lowell Thomas Law Library. Campus Safety contacted the male, questioned and released him.

At 11:04 p.m., a DU student reported another DU student injured himself at the Metallurgy Building. Campus Safety and paramedics responded. The reporting student transported the student to Porter Adventist Hospital for treatment.

Feb. 19

At 11:05 a.m., a DU staff member reported between Feb. 5 and 7, unknown person(s) stole a tabletop projector from the Ritchie Center. Campus Safety and the Denver Police Department responded and completed the investigation.

At 6:15 p.m., a DU student reported an unidentified vehicle struck his personal vehicle parked in Lot 103, north of Centennial Halls. The other vehicle caused minor damage to his vehicle. Campus Safety responded, completed the investigation and advised the student to file a report with the Denver Police Department.
