Feb. 22
At about 1:09 a.m., a Resident Assistant reported a DU student injured herself in her residence at Centennial Halls. Campus Safety and paramedics responded. Paramedics transported the student to Porter Adventist Hospital for treatment.
At about 8:00 p.m., a burglar alarm was activated in the unoccupied Kappa Sigma Fraternity House. Campus Safety responded and was unable to locate anyone in the building.
At about 3:45 p.m., a DU staff member reported a DU student was assaulted on Feb. 14 in the 2000 block of South University Boulevard. Campus Safety and the Denver Police Department is continuing an investigation.
At about 10:40 p.m., a DU student reported unknown person(s) entered his residence at Centennial Halls and damaged property. Campus Safety’s investigation is ongoing.
Feb. 24
At about 1:58 p.m., a Resident Assistant reported a DU student was stuck in an elevator at Centennial Halls. The student was freed prior to the arrival of Campus Safety and the Denver Fire Department. Facilities Management was notified.
At about 11:17 p.m., a Resident Assistant reported marijuana and drug paraphernalia in a residence at Johnson-McFarlane Hall. Campus Safety responded, confiscated the contraband and secured it at the Campus Safety Center for safekeeping. Campus Safety’s investigation is ongoing.
Feb. 25
At about 12:13 a.m., a Resident Assistant reported unknown person(s) vandalized a door at Johnson-McFarlane Hall. Campus Safety responded and temporarily secured the door. Facilities Management was notified.
At 2:21 p.m., a DU student reported that his laptop computer had been taken from an unsecured area of the Ritchie Center. The student was referred to the Denver Police Department. A Campus Safety investigation is continuing.
At 3:45 p.m, Campus Safety and Denver Paramedics responded to the Student Health Services Office at the Ritchie Center due to a person experiencing chest pains. Paramedics transported the person to the hospital.
At 10:20 p.m. a DU student reported having received a threatening email. Campus Safety’s investigation is continuing.
Feb. 26
At about 8:30 a.m., a DU staff member reported unknown person(s) vandalized an emergency exit at Centennial Towers. Campus Safety responded and completed the investigation. The Denver Police Department’s assistance was declined.
At about 9:00 a.m., a Campus Safety Officer reported graffiti on an electrical transformer in Lot 125, north and east of the Metallurgy Building. Facilities Management was notified.
At about 12:15 p.m., a DU student reported an unidentified DU staff member chased him in a DU vehicle. Campus Safety’s investigation is ongoing.
At about 10:00 a.m., a DU student reported on Feb. 25 an unaffiliated female injured herself during a judo club practice at an off-campus location. The female was taken to Porter Adventist Hospital.
