Lauren Allen

This is Ren's first year on the Clarion. From Jackson, Mississippi, Ren has been an editor for two publications and been published in Jackson's Politico Magazine. She is an active Sexual Health and Social Justice advocate currently working for Colorado Youth Matter. Alongside journalism articles, Ren also writes slam poetry and flash fiction. She misses her family, her dog Mickey, and fried okra.
