Those who inspire us say a lot about who we are, but even more about who we want to be.  Most have lost a lot in 2020.  Loved ones, health, opportunities, and so on. But it has given us the chance to connect to our passions and how we want to impact the world.  This small project is an appreciation of that chance. It is a reminder not to get stuck in the present, while we have the opportunity to work for a better future. Here are five students and their inspirations.

“I don’t play soccer. For me, Abby Wambach is more than just soccer excellence. I was lucky to go to a Zoom conference where she spoke the other day. It solidified the respect and admiration I have for a woman as strong and caring as her.” – Elli Vandeyacht

“I wanted to do Chungha because she is beautiful and talented. I look up to idols because of the courage, dedication and hard work I know it took for them to be where they are. Not only that, but they are such talented dancers and singers. I love both the beauty and confidence those arts bring out in a person.”  – Megan Wong
