Sick student

On Friday, Feb. 11, at 3:35 p.m., a DU staff member reported a DU student was ill at The Ritchie Center. Campus Safety, Denver Fire Department and paramedics responded. Paramedics transported the student to Porter Hospital for treatment.

Destroyed plants

On Saturday, Feb. 12, at 9:35 p.m., an unidentified caller reported several plants and a table were vandalized at the Driscoll Center. Campus Safety responded and set the plants and table upright. There were no suspects in the area.

Illegal noisemaker

On Saturday, Feb. 12, at 9:50 p.m., a Campus Safety officer reported an unaffiliated adult male had his noisemaker confiscated and thrown away while he was attending a DU hockey game at The Ritchie Center. Denver police also responded and advised the male to file a complaint with the university.

Shattered glass

On Friday, Feb. 11, at 6:10 a.m., a Campus Safety officer reported a parked and unattended vehicle in the 2400 block of East Asbury Avenue had a broken window. A Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.

Broken window

On Saturday, Feb. 12, at 1:50 a.m., a Campus Safety officer reported a parked and unattended vehicle in the 2400 block of East Asbury Avenue had a broken window. A Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.

Cash crook

On Monday, Feb. 14, at 11:09 a.m., a DU staff member reported unknown person(s) stole cash from a secured safe at The Ritchie Center. A Campus Safety and Denver police investigation is ongoing.

Stolen car

On Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 5:45 p.m., a DU staff member reported unknown person(s) stole her personal vehicle while it was parked and unattended in Lot H2, south of Cherrington Hall. A Campus Safety officer responded, completed an investigation, and advised the staff member to file a report with Denver police.

Vandalized car

On Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 11:35 p.m., a Campus Safety officer reported unknown person(s) vandalized a DU student’s vehicle while it was parked and unattended in Lot 103, north of Centennial Halls. A Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.

Stolen radio

On Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 11:35 p.m., a Campus Safety officer reported a DU student’s vehicle was broken into and the car radio was stolen while it was parked and unattended in Lot 103, north of Centennial Halls. A Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.

Radio snatched

On Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 2:50 a.m., a Campus Safety officer reported a DU student’s vehicle was broken into and the car radio was stolen while it was parked and unattended in Lot 103, north of Centennial Halls. A Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.

Bicycle mishap

On Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 12:28 p.m., a Campus Safety officer reported a DU student injured himself while riding his bike in the 2100 block of East Evans Avenue. Campus Safety, Denver Fire Department, and paramedics responded. Paramedics transported the student to Porter Hospital for treatment.

Wounded

On Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 10:04 p.m., an RA reported a DU student injured herself at Centennial Halls. Campus Safety and paramedics responded. Paramedics transported the student to Porter Hospital for treatment.

Hot under the collar

On Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 12:50 a.m., an RA reported two DU students were arguing at Centennial Halls. Campus Safety and the GRD responded. The GRD advised she will make arrangements to place one of the students in a separate residence.

Snatched cell

On Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 8:19 p.m., a DU student reported unknown person(s) stole her cell phone from an unsecured classroom in the College of Law. A Campus Safety officer responded, completed an investigation, and advised the student to file a report with Denver police.

False alarm

On Thursday, Feb. 17, at 2:31 a.m., a fire alarm was activated at Centennial Halls. Campus Safety and Denver Fire Department responded. A fire department investigation revealed it was a false alarm caused by unknown person(s) who activated a manual pull station.

Sick drunk

On Thursday, Feb. 17, at 2:17 a.m., an RA reported an underage student was intoxicated and ill at Centennial Halls. Campus Safety, paramedics, and the GRD responded. Paramedics transported the student to Porter Hospital for treatment.

Gate-breaking bandit

On Friday, Feb. 18, at 1:43 a.m., a Campus Safety officer reported an unidentified male exited a DU student’s vehicle and broke the gate arm to Lot C, north of Centennial Halls. The DU student operating the vehicle refused to identify the passenger who broke the gate arm. The incident was referred to Citizenship & Community Standards for disposition.

Stumbling drunk

On Friday, Feb. 18, at 2:45 a.m., a Campus Safety officer reported an underage DU student was intoxicated and having difficulty walking in the Harper Humanities Gardens. A Detox van responded and transported the student to Detox for observation.
