Stabbing threatOn Friday, Sept. 13, at 9:39 a.m., a DU staff member reported that a DU student in Nelson Hall had thretaened to stab himself and another student. The Departent of Residence was alerted and the Counseling and Behavioral Health Center was notified and the student was referred.

In the buffOn Sunday, Sept. 15, at 10:15 p.m. a DU staff member called the Department of Campus Safety to inform them of an adult male running nude through the Penrose Library.

Exposed!!Two different reports have been filed with Campus Safety and with the Denver police regarding an adult male who has been exposing himself. The man exposed himself outside of the Rick’s Center on Sept. 13 and outside of a student’s apartment in La Chateau on Sept. 17.

Feeling gassy?On Sept. 19, a Graduate Resident Director in Centenniel Towers reported smelling natural gas. Excel Energy responded and their investigation found that the smell was caused by the heating system being turned on for the first time this season.

Bikes stolenDuring the past few weeks several bicycles have been stolen from varous racks around campus. A bike was stolen at Nelson Hall on Sept. 14. Another bike was stolen from a rack at DCB on Sept. 16. A third attempt was made to steal a bike from Nelson Hall on Sept. 14.

On iceOn Sept. 16, a DU staff member reported that a DU student had fallen while ice skating at the Ritchie Center and was unconscious. Paramedics responded but the student refused medical help and left on her own.
