Mental health

On Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 11:59 a.m. Campus Safety officers responded to Ammi Hyde building on a report of an unaffiliated outpatient there needing to be transported for a mental health evaluation. Campus Safety and Denver paramedics arrived and the paramedics transported the individual to Porter Hospital for evaluation.

Fallen student

On Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 1:30 p.m. Campus Safety officers responded to the Daniels College of Business on a report of a DU student who had collapsed in a restroom there. Campus Safety, Denver Fire Department and Denver paramedics arrived and the paramedics transported the student to Porter Hospital for evaluation.

Locker room encounter

On Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 8:50 a.m. a DU staff member reported that he found a suspicious male in a locked locker room in the Ritchie Center on Tuesday. The staff member reported that nothing appeared to be missing at this time. A Campus Safety report was completed.

Skateboard tricksters

On Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 6:20 p.m. a Campus Safety parking officer contacted two DU students trick skateboarding along the west side of Boettcher West. The students were identified, and the incident was referred to Citizenship & Community Standards for disposition.

Party trouble

On Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 9:50 p.m. Campus Safety officers along with Denver Fire Department and Denver paramedics responded to the Cable Center on a report of an ill person. The paramedics transported the unaffiliated male to the hospital for treatment.

Harassed at the Pub

On Thursday, Oct. 28, at 11:15 a.m. a Sodexo staff member reported that she was being harassed in the Driscoll Center Pub by and former boyfriend. Campus Safety and Denver police responded and completed reports.

Lost purse, fake ID

On Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 4:55 p.m. a Campus Safety officer found a purse in the intersection of Iliff Avenue and Josephine Street. The purse belonged to a DU student and also contained a false identification card. A Campus Safety report was completed.

Hit and run

On Thursday, Oct. 28, at 2:30 a.m. a Campus Safety officer witnessed a hit and run accident in the 2200 block of Josephine Street. The two damaged vehicles belong to DU students. Denver police responded and Campus Safety and Denver police completed reports.

Suspicious incident

On Friday, Oct. 29, at 1:25 a.m. Campus Safety officers were contacted by a DU student at Asbury Avenue and Columbine Street who reported a suspicious incident. The student reported four young adults in the area causing a verbal disturbance. The parties were gone from the area upon the arrival of Campus Safety officers. A Campus Safety report was completed.

Drippy garage

On Monday, Oct. 25, at 2:20 p.m. a DU student reported that his vehicle had been damaged by a water leak while it was parked in the underground garage of Nelson Hall. Parking Services and Risk Management were notified.

Stolen ski vest

On Friday, Oct. 29, at 11:03 a.m., a DU staff member reported unknown person(s) stole his ski vest from a secured office in Driscoll North. A Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.

Scraped up motorcycle

On Friday, Oct. 29, at 7:30 p.m., a DU student reported his motorcycle fell and was damaged while it was parked and unattended in lot C, north of Centennial Halls. A Campus Safety officer responded, completed an investigation, and advised the student to file a report with Denver police.

Ritchie Center slopes

On Sunday, Oct. 31, at 11:38 p.m., a DU student reported he injured himself snowboarding down the side of The Ritchie Center. Campus Safety responded. The student declined medical assistance and had another student transport him to an unknown location for treatment.

Graffitied Sigma Chi

On Friday, Oct. 29, at 9:40 a.m., a DU staff member reported unknown person(s) painted graffiti on a wall at the Sigma Chi fraternity house. A Campus Safety officer responded and completed an investigation. Facilities Management and Greek Life were notified.

False fire alarm

On Sunday, Oct. 31, at 4:22 a.m., a DU student reported a fire alarm was activated at Skyline Hall. Campus Safety and Denver Fire Department responded. A Denver Fire Department investigation determined it was a false alarm caused by unknown person(s) that activated a file alarm pull station. There were no injuries.

Stolen card, free pizza

On Sunday, Oct. 31, at 1:17 p.m., a DU student reported she lost her Pioneer Card and it was used to try to pay for a pizza delivery at Centennial Halls. A Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.

Roofied drink

On Sunday, Oct. 3, at 3:30 p.m., an underage DU student reported she drank an alcoholic beverage that was possibly drugged at the Beta Theta Pi fraternity house. A Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.

Stadium fight

On Saturday, Oct. 30, at 10:45 a.m., the mother of a DU student reported her son and another DU student were injured in a fight with a third DU student outside The Stadium Inn, 1703 E. Evans Ave. A Campus Safety and Denver police investigation is ongoing.

Vending machine

On Monday, Nov. 1, at 3:24 a.m., a DU staff member reported unknown person(s) stole change from vending machines at the College of Law. A Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.
