Serious assault
On Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 8:38 p.m., a DU student reported another student assaulted and injured her in Driscoll North. Campus Safety, Denver police and paramedics responded. The injured student was transported to an unidentified hospital by a friend. The suspect student was arrested by Denver police.
Weed in dorms
On Thursday, Feb. 5, at 2:40 p.m., an RA reported she recovered a small amount of marijuana from a residence in Centennial Towers. Campus Safety responded and confiscated the marijuana. The incident was referred to Citizenship & Community Standards for disposition.
Threatening
On Saturday, Feb. 7, at 1:05 p.m., a DU staff member reported that at about 10 a.m., an unaffiliated adult male threatened two other unaffiliated adults in the Coors Fitness Center at the Ritchie Center. Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation.
Car break in
On Sunday, Feb. 8, at 1:35 a.m., a DU student reported another DU student broke a window in her personal vehicle while it was parked in the driveway to Lot L, north of the College of Law. Campus Safety and Denver police responded. The incident was referred to Citizenship & Community Standards. Drunk freshman
On Sunday, Feb. 8, at 4:59 p.m., an RA reported an underage DU student was intoxicated and ill at Johnson-McFarlane Hall. Campus Safety, Denver police and paramedics responded. Paramedics transported the student to Porter Hospital for treatment.
Car radio swiped
On Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 10:26 p.m., a DU student reported unknown person(s) broke into his personal vehicle and stole the car radio while the car was parked and unattended in Lot L, north of the College of Law. Campus Safety responded, completed an investigation, and advised the student to file a report with Denver police.
Gatebreaker
On Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 3:15 a.m., a Campus Safety dispatcher reported a DU student drove his personal vehicle through the entrance to Lot C, north of Centennial Halls, and broke off the gate arm. Campus Safety and Denver police officers responded. The underage student was found to be intoxicated and in possession of a fraudulent driver’s license. Denver police ticketed the student.
Student hit by car
On Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 11:25 a.m., a DU student reported she was struck by a university vehicle in Lot 306, south of the Mary McFarlane Building. Campus Safety responded.
