Stolen money

On Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003 at 7:16 a.m., a DU student reported that on Nov. 15 her unattended wallet was stolen from Penrose Library. Campus Safety completed an investigation.

On Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 12:19 p.m., a DU staff member reported unknown person(s) stole artwork from a bulletin board in the Shwayder Art Building. Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation.

Suspicious male

On Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 1:57 a.m., Campus Safety reported a suspicious male walking in the middle of the street in the 2400 block of East Asbury Avenue. Campus Safety confronted the unaffiliated male and determined he was intoxicated. Denver police responded and had the male transported to the detox unit for treatment.

Gone skiing

On Thursday, Nov. 20, at 12:37 p.m., a DU staff member reported unknown person(s) stole a set of skis from a secured storage area at The Ritchie Center.

Ill student

On Thursday, Nov. 20, at 10:10 p.m., an RA reported a DU student was ill at Johnson-McFarlane Hall. Campus Safety and paramedics responded. Paramedics treated the student on scene.

Drinks in dorms

On Friday, Nov. 21, at about 12:15 a.m., Campus Safety reported an underage DU student was intoxicated at Centennial Halls. Paramedics responded and determined the student needed to go to detox. A detox unit responded and transported the student to detox for treatment.

Harassment

On Friday, Nov. 21, at 10:40 a.m., a DU staff member reported an unaffiliated male harassed a DU student during a test at Sturm Hall. Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.

Big trouble

On Saturday, Nov. 22, at 1:25 a.m., a graduate resident director reported an underage DU student was intoxicated, ill, and in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia in his residence at Centennial Halls. Campus Safety and paramedics responded.

Paramedics transported the student to detox for treatment. Denver police responded and ticketed the student for possession of marijuana. Campus Safety also discovered stolen merchandise in the student’s residence. Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.

On Thursday, Dec. 4, at about 8:30 a.m., a DU staff member reported unknown person(s) vandalized concrete walls at The Ritchie Center. Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation.

On Thursday, Dec. 4, at 10:55 a.m., a DU faculty member reported unknown person(s) stole her wallet from her secured office in Sturm Hall. Campus Safety responded, completed an investigation, and advised the faculty member to file a report with Denver police.

On Thursday, Dec. 4, at 2:12 p.m., a DU student reported unknown person(s) stole a credit card from her unattended purse at the College of Law. Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation. Denver police were notified.

On Thursday, Dec. 4, at about 10:45 p.m., Campus Safety reported a DU student refused to identify himself and remove his pet dog from the College of Law when requested to do so by the officer. The incident was referred to Citizenship & Community Standards for disposition.

Dumpster fire

On Thursday, Dec. 11, at 6:09 a.m., a Sodexho staff member reported a dumpster fire outside The Ritchie Center. Campus Safety and Denver police responded. Denver Fire Department extinguished the fire. There were no injuries or damage to the building.

On Thursday Dec. 11, at 4:19 p.m., a DU staff member reported a DU student was possibly suicidal at Driscoll North. Campus Safety responded. Counseling Services was notified.

On Saturday, Dec. 13, at 8:10 a.m., a DU staff member reported unknown person(s) stole electronics equipment from Centennial Halls. Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.

On Monday, Dec. 15, at about 9 a.m., a DU staff member reported unknown person(s) stole two microwave ovens from an unsecured break room in Driscoll South. Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation.

On Monday, Dec. 15, at 2:39 p.m., a DU staff member reported unknown person(s) stole a computer monitor from an office in Driscoll South. Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation.

On Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 10:35 a.m., a DU staff member reported an unidentified male stole a computer from the College of Law. Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.

Drunk dude

On Tuesday, Dec. 16, at about 6:15 a.m., Campus Safety reported an unaffiliated male was intoxicated on the sidewalk in the 2100 block of East Harvard Street. Paramedics responded and transported the male to an unidentified medical facility for treatment.

Fireworks found

On Saturday, Jan. 3, at 4:32 p.m., an unidentified caller reported unexploded fireworks left outside of the Tennis Pavilion at The Ritchie Center. Campus Safety and Denver police responded. Denver police removed the fireworks without incident or injury.

On Sunday, Jan. 4, at about 7:15 a.m., Campus Safety reported an unidentified vehicle damaged a gate arm at the entrance to Lot C, north of Centennial Halls. Campus Safety investigation is ongoing. Parking Services was notified.
