Blood drive
The University of Denver and the Bonfils Blood Center will hold a blood drive Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Driscoll Ballroom. It is recommended that those wishing to donate blood eat and drink before doing so.

Lecture on art
The University Honors Program Colloquium Series presents “The Fact of a Corner: An Unusual History of Contemporary Art,” a talk by Adam Lerner, Ph.D., master teacher of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Denver Art Museum.
The event will be today at 4:30 p.m. in the Honors Seminar Room located in the Mary Reed Building.

THE DU HIV/AIDS Awareness Committee is holding an informational meeting tonight at 7 p.m. in the Student Involvement Center, room 222. The meeting regards becoming involved with the committee and working for the cause.

THE LAMONT Opera Theatre Department will present “Opera Acting Scenes” Thursday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Hamilton Recital Hall in the Newman Center. Admission is free.
