Dear Clarion,Our heartfelt thanks to the staff and students at DU, especially at the Lamont School of Music where our son, Asa, was a sophomore this fall.Your outpouring of support and sympathy has comforted and uplifted us during this difficult time. We are very touched that the students would choose to dedicate a practice room in Asa’s name – we know that he would be touched and honored as well.We are heartbroken that our son did not reach out to others for help when he was at a desperate point in his life and so urge you as students to seek help for yourself or others if the opportunity arises.
