Sign sniper

On Friday, April 29, at 11 p.m., a Campus Safety officer saw two males carrying a sign that may belong to the Women’s Library Association in the 2400 block of S. York Street The address was noted where the males took the sign and turned over to investigations for follow up.

On Saturday, April 30, at 5:17 p.m., a Campus Safety officer contacted a DU student for trick skateboarding in parking lot C, located north of Centennial Halls. The student was advised that the incident would be turned over to Citizenship and Community Standards for disposition.

Gates faux pas

On Saturday, April 30, at 6:13 p.m., an unaffiliated female slipped and fell while walking on the grass east of the Gates Field House at the Ritchie Center. The female was treated on scene by Denver Fire Department personnel and released.

Science swindler

On Monday, May 2, at 8:27 a.m., a DU staff member reported several items stolen from room 245 in Olin Hall. Further investigation revealed that the room had been entered by force.

A Denver Police Department report was filed on the missing items. Facilities Management was notified to repair the window.

Offensive orator

On Tuesday, May 3, at 5:25 p.m., a DU staff member reported that she was verbally harassed while walking in the 1900 block of University Boulvard. Denver Police Department assistance was declined. Campus Safety completed an on scene investigation.

DU boo-boo

On Thursday, May 5, at 2:40 a.m., a DU student reported that while operating a DU vehicle, she was involved in a fixed object accident. There were no injuries. The report will be forwarded to Risk Management. The Denver Police Department was not contacted.

Hi-tech fight

On Friday, May 6, at 5:23 a.m., Campus Safety and the Denver Police Department responded to a fight in progress on the grounds of the UTS building, located on the corner of High Street and Evans Avenue Upon arrival, a DU student was discovered to be injured. He was transported to Denver Health Medical Center for treatment. The student was not able to give a description of the assailant.

Cook crook

On Friday, May 6, at 5:55 a.m., a DU staff member reported that unknown person(s) stole a cooking dish that was left unattended in the dock area of the Centennial Halls. A check of the area by the staff member and Campus Safety met with negative results. Denver Police assistance was declined.
