The start of every new season signifies a time when it’s out with the old and in with the new. Restaurants, businesses and patrons alike switch into new season overdrive as they change their food, products and looks to match whatever’s going on outdoors. Everyone has their seasonal vices, so here is a list of places serving fall specialties that will satisfy your current needs.

Einstein Bagels just came out with a variety of fall drinks: Pumpkin Chai Latte, Pumpkin White Chocolate Mocha and Pumpkin Latte. Other fall treats, such as pumpkin cream cheese and pumpkin muffins, accompany these delicious drinks. To start your day off in full fall fashion, visit the location in DCB and indulge.

Jelly U Cafe updated its menu last May, but it kept the classic Harvest Hash, a dish that tastes just like fall feels. This hash is a mashup of rutabaga, turnip, parsnip, carrot, butternut squash, brussel sprouts and red potatoes. As an added bonus, eat at Jelly on a weekday and couple your morning munch with $10 bottomless mimosas.

Habit Doughnut Dispensary is a new doughnut spot on Platte Street, which has a Seasonal Doughnut section on its menu. Some current items include: Plain Jane (Habit brioche and brown sugar), Peanut The Creator (Habit brioche, peanut butter glaze, chocolate candied peanuts) and Let Me Be Your O.R.E.O (Habit brioche, cookies and cream, cream cheese glaze, chocolate cookie crumble). Prices for the seasonal doughnuts range from $2-5 dollars, and as can be expected, they are only around for one season, so go get them while they’re hot.

Morgan Liquors selection of pumpkin beer is flowing with a wide range of fall drinks. Pumpkin Beer by Pumpkin Beer by Lakefront Brewery, Punkin Ale by Dogfish Head Brewery, Black O’ Lantern Pumpkin Stout by Wasatch and Pumpkick Spiced Seasonal Ale by New Belgium are just a few of the options. There’s also the option of a  Denver local: Pumpkin Spiced Autumn Maple by Breckenridge Brewery. Enjoy one of these brews on a weekend while you’re fully relaxed and taking in all this time has to offer.

The specialties are endless this quarter, even if they do have a shelf life. But there is no need to fret, for winter is right around the corner with its own unique things to offer.
