While the Clarion staff has immense respect for this publication’s past, we have decided to take just about everything in an entirely different direction this year. Here’s how:

To start, the way you are reading this letter, whether it be in print or online, is completely redesigned. Simply flip through the pages of our paper and click through the pages on our website, and we guarantee that you’ll love what you see.

Behind the scenes, we have a brand-new office that’s already making our team more productive and excited than ever before. We are now housed in the former DUPB office—still in Driscoll Underground—just a stone’s throw away from our old location.

Our new paper, website and office are, by far, the biggest changes you’ll notice this year. But there are countless other, little changes to know about as well: More photos, more illustrations, more graphics, more focus on social media, more long-term thinking, more feature articles, more content organization, more collaboration with all moving parts of the university. The list goes on and on.

Change is scary, but it’s essential to the wellbeing of the Clarion. If you have any questions, suggestions or concerns for me as we dive into this academic year, please get in touch at duclarioneditor@gmail.com.

All the best,

Connor W. Davis

Editor-in-Chief
