1. String a hammock up between two shady trees on the South side of Wash Park.
2. Visit all of the Clarion’s 5 Secret Spots of DU.
3. Eat at one of the spots that the Clarion staff has reviewed for the Grind.
4. Day drink. ‘Nough said.
5. Have a watermelon seed spitting contest.
6. Skinny dip in one of the many decorative water elements around campus.
7. Go to St. Mary’s Glacier and jump in the lake after sliding down the ice.
8. After Memorial Weekend, rent a boat on Lake Dillon. Split the cost with friends and hone your fishing skills while enjoying the scenery.
9. Read the 2014 ‘Then and Now’ edition of DU’s literary journal, Foothills Visual and Textual Journal.
10. Head over to Little Man Ice Cream for a tasty treat on an especially warm night.
11. Get your jazz fix at Flo’s Underground, a night of free jazz by fellow DU students that is held every Friday in the basement of the Lamont School of Music.
12. Frolick in the backyard with a puppy. If you don’t have a backyard or a puppy, borrow them.
13. Attend Beans After Dark in Beans Cafe on campus for a selection of good wine and good company. Head over there on May 21 for a poetry reading hosted by English Honors fraternity Sigma Tau Delta.
14. Volunteer at a community or urban garden and help keep DU and Denver sustainable.
