Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at 12:36 a.m. – DCS responded to a call from DPD requesting assistance with an assault investigation at an off campus apartment building. Upon arrival at the scene, DCS officers were informed by DPD officers that two students had been involved in a domestic violence situation and that one of the two students would be charged with and arrested for assault.
Medical Assist
Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. – DCS took a report from a staff member regarding a student who had been injured at the High Altitude Station near Echo Lake, CO. The staff member reported that the student had been transported by paramedics to Saint Anthony’s Hospital.

Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014 at 12:52 a.m. – DCS responded to a call from DPD regarding a student who they had in custody near the intersection of South University Boulevard and East Asbury Avenue. Upon arrival at the scene, DCS officers spoke with DPD officers who stated that the student was being cited for public consumption of alcohol and released.
Detox
Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014 at 2:02 a.m. – DCS responded to a call regarding a highly intoxicated student attempting to kick in doors at Centennial Halls. Upon arrival at the scene, officers contacted the student in question. DPD officers were already on the scene and took the student into custody. Due to the student’s high level of intoxication, DPD contacted paramedics who transported the student to a hospital.
Vehicular Collision
Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014 at 12:01 p.m. – DCS took a report regarding damage to a gate in parking lot C. A review of surveillance footage revealed a suspect.
Theft
Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014 at 2:53 p.m. – DCS responded to a call from a student regarding the theft of a bicycle part from a rack near Centennial Halls. Upon arrival at the scene, officers spoke with the student in question who stated that the part had last been seen on Jan. 17.
Narcotics
Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014 at 12:19 a.m. – DCS responded to a noise complaint in Centennial Halls. Upon arrival at the scene, officers contacted four students who were inside the room from which the noise was coming. While speaking with the students, officers observed narcotics and drug paraphernalia, which they confiscated.
