Vice Chancellor of University Technology Services (UTS) Tim Brooks will officially resign today according to an email sent to university faculty and staff by Chancellor Robert Coombe on Nov. 12.
The university did not release details behind the reason for his resignation, which Coombe said came through “mutual agreement.”
Brooks will be replaced by Cindy Crouch, who currently serves as assistant vice chancellor of the department.
“(Crouch) will continue to provide steady and capable leadership within UTS going forward. I look forward to working with Cindy.” Coombe wrote.
“As you all know, technology plays a key role for many important university initiatives,” Coombe continued. “We must proceed with all due speed, and I have full confidence that we have among us the talent and drive necessary to do so.” ‘
UTS is responsible for technology services on campus including campus telephones, internet connection, the banner student electronic system and campus email addresses and listservs.
