Alcohol

On Friday, Feb. 15 at 12:21 a.m., Campus Safety officers responded to Johnson-McFarlane Hall regarding intoxicated students. Upon arrival Campus Safety officers met with four students. It was determined three students could not safely remain on campus and were taken to Denver Cares. A fourth student was released.

On Friday, Feb. 15 at 1:15 a.m., while on routine patrol, a Campus Safety officer observed a student banging on the glass at Centennial Halls. The officer started to question the student and they became combative. The Denver Police Department (DPD) responded to the scene. Due to the student’s level of intoxication, Denver Health was requested and they transported the student to the hospital.

On Friday, Feb. 15 at 1:32 a.m., the DPD requested Campus Safety respond to an off-campus bar regarding a student. Upon arrival, they met with the reporting DPD officer who stated they were citing a student for underage drinking and public consumption of alcohol.

Vandalism

On Friday, Feb. 15 at 8:58 a.m., while on routine patrol a Campus Safety officer discovered a damaged window at Metallurgy. Facilities were contacted to repair the window.

On Sunday, Feb. 17 at 12:27 a.m., Campus safety officers responded to Johnson-McFarlane Hall regarding vandalism. Upon arrival, they met with the reporting party who stated two bathroom stall doors in the women’s restroom were damaged.

On Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 2:03 a.m., during routine patrol a Campus Safety officer was contacted by a staff member who reported that while performing their job duties, they discovered damage to a window in the basement of Ammi Hyde.

Disorderly Conduct

On Friday, Feb. 15 at 1:31 p.m., while monitoring an event at Driscoll Green, Campus Safety officers were contacted regarding three students who were interfering with the event. The three students became confrontational but eventually left the scene.

Drugs

On Friday, Feb. 15 at 11:27 p.m., Campus Safety officers were called to Johnson-McFarlane Hall regarding drug paraphernalia found in a student’s room. Upon arrival, they met with a Resident Assistant who stated while conducting a community walk they noticed alcohol and drug paraphernalia in a student’s room. DPD was contacted to identify an unknown drug. Officers confiscated the items in question.

Theft

On Saturday, Feb. 16 at 7:38 p.m., Campus Safety officers responded to Centennial Halls regarding stolen laundry. Upon arrival, they met with a student who stated they had left a bag of laundry in the laundry room for approximately 30 minutes. When they returned the bag was gone. Officers were able to identify the person who took the bag as a student.

Ill Party

On Saturday, Feb. 15 at 2:45 p.m., Campus Safety received a call from a staff member who wanted to report that a student was transported to the hospital during an event at the Keystone Science School.

On Sunday, Feb. 16 at 2:43 a.m., Campus Safety officers responded to Johnson-McFarlane Hall regarding an ill student. Upon arrival, they met a student who requested Denver Health be called to evaluate them. Denver Health determined the student did not need to be transported.

Forgery

On Monday, Feb. 11 at 10:18 a.m., Campus Safety responded to Centennial Halls to pick up a found wallet. Upon review of its contents, Campus Safety discovered the wallet belonged to a student and a fake identification was found in the wallet.

Slip and Fall

On Saturday, Feb. 16 at 9:25 a.m., a Coors Fitness Center member came to the Campus Safety Center to report a slip and fall. They stated on Feb. 15 they slipped on ice on Asbury Avenue while walking from Lot L to the Coors Fitness Center.

Other

On Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 2:28 p.m., Campus Safety officers responded to Driscoll South regarding troublesome phone calls a staff member had received. The staff member did not want to report the incidents to the Denver Police Department.
