what went right

The Pioneers gymnastics team recorded its best floor exercise score of the season in the final rotation of the Burnsley Invitational. They scored a season best 49.350 on floor to defeat No.10 Nebraska in a comeback victory on Saturday.

 

what went wrong

The comeback could not have been any better and can prove to be the turning point in the season. “I’m thrilled with the character and excellence that this team showed tonight,” said head coach Melissa Kutcher-Rinehart.

DU will be in action on Friday against Sacramento State. The meet will begin at 8:00 p.m. MST.

On Friday, sophomore Kara Secora scored had two goals and five other Pioneers scored as well.
