There’s a new late-night beacon for those making the 2 a.m. exodus from the Border or a weekend house party.

Jimmy John’s, located conveniently at 2075 South University Boulevard (next to Mustard’s Last Stand), is now open and serving freshly made, self-proclaimed “World’s Greatest Gourmet Sandwiches” until 3 a.m. daily.

Jimmy John’s motto is sandwiches “so fast you’ll freak,” and they stick to it. By the time you order, reach into your wallet, and get change, your sandwich is ready.

Jimmy John’s also offers delivery service, costing 25 cents per item, with a minimum of only one sandwich per order. With prices ranging from $3.55 to $7.55, this new sandwich shop makes the perfect lunch, dinner or snack stop.

Jimmy John’s offers a menu of specialty subs with different meats, cheeses, spreads and veggies, all on homemade French bread. Furthermore, ingredients are freshly sliced.

Customers may choose a “plain slim” (meat and cheese only for $3.55), including ham and cheese, roast beef, tuna salad, turkey breast and double provolone options.

An original 8-inch sub is available for $4.55, and giant club sandwiches with double the meat and cheese of a regular sub costs $5.55.

Carnivores and veg-heads alike may rejoice. The menu offers the meat-packed Ultimate Porker piled high with applewood smoked ham and bacon with lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise.

For the veg-heads, the Gourmet Veggie Club filled with double provolone, avocado, cucumber, sprouts, lettuce and tomato is available in normal, white bread or on 7-grain whole wheat bread. Both of these delicacies are available for $5.55 each.

Jimmy John’s feels more like a cozy cafe than a rushed fast food experience.

Brick walls hung with photos and a scattering of wooden tables and chairs welcome customers to come and relax, perhaps study awhile, and embrace the casual dining experience that is Jimmy John’s.

Some interesting sandwich ideas include a #12 Beach Club, filled with lean turkey breast with provolone cheese piled on top, mixed with creamy avocado spread, sliced cucumber, sprouts, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on French bread.

Perhaps a #15 Club Tuna would suit you better, which features homemade tuna salad, provolone, sprouts, cucumber, lettuce, and tomato.

Both the Beach Club and Club Tuna cost $5.55.

For your late night study parties or to snack on with friends, the JJ Gargantuan will do the trick. With tons of salami, sliced smoked ham, capicola, roast beef, turkey and provolone all jammed into a fresh-baked French bun topped with mayonnaise and Italian dressing.

Jimmy John’s provides more than just gourmet sandwiches.

For a low carb treat, try the Hunter’s Club Unwich, a lettuce wrap that includes roast beef, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise.

Side items available at Jimmy John’s include soda, giant chocolate chip and raisin cookies, real potato chips, a jumbo Kosher dill pickle, and hot peppers.

So this week as you look for that perfect place to make a lunch date, feed your late night study habits, or call in a Saturday night fourth-meal, look no further than Jimmy John’s gourmet sandwiches.

For delivery options, call 303-282-7200 or visit their store open until 3 a.m. Both delivery and carry-out can be ordered online at www.jimmyjohns.com.
