“If/Then”

The unique contemporary musical “If/Then” takes a stab at dual realities, following the lives of Liz and Beth, two different futures for returning New Yorker Elizabeth (Idina Menzel, “Frozen”). Most of the original Broadway cast members, including the famous Menzel and Anthony Rapp (“Pop!”), are touring with the show, which is almost unheard of.

“A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder”

The 2014 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder,” is coming to the Denver stage. This witty and satirical Edwardian comedy follows Monty Navarro (Kevin Massey, “Memphis”) as he tries to climb the social ladder.

Based on the true story of the 1899 newsboy strike, the Broadway hit “Newsies” finds Jack Kelly (Dan DeLuca, “Next to Normal”) leading a strike against newspaper tyrants Pulitzer and Hearst. Complete with a fierce group of kids, incredible dancing and infectious music, Disney’s “Newsies” is a classic underdog story that promises to thrill audiences.

Indie movie-turned-musical “Once” redefines the modern Broadway musical, often emulating an intimate jam session more than a typical show-stopping number. With only a short stint in Denver, this heartwarming musical is a must-see.
