Did you just come back from Acapulco, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, South Beach, Nassau, Jamaica, or, if you are really extravagant, Ibiza, for a European-style spring break?
If you returned from any of these destinations listed above, you probably are beginning your first few days of classes with your skin peeling off of your face from the peer pressure to be more tanned than your friends upon your return from break. Your peeling is accompanied by a fabulous chest ailment that involves the coughing up of fluids that my or my not be the sea water. You have not slept in six or seven days, depending on how serious you were about your partying. Did you know that “1 in 5” of you now have and STD? Ouch! But it was worth it, right? Not.
I, too, have had crazy spring breaks. My freshman year I traveled to the debacle known as Cancun, Mexico, and this year I enjoyed a much more subdued and more memorable spring break in the British West Indies on a little island called Island Providencials in the west Caicos. There, I listened to sleazy European dance song “Rock This Party (Everybody Dance)” by Bon Sinclar, which was also the Hott song of the week.

Besides that, ZBT fraternity on campus has begun its spring recruitment, making them the Hottest fraternity of the week. Check the Rush ZBT group page on Facebook for details. As for sororities, DG is named the Hottest sorority of the week for its un-official girls night at Club Crave downtown, now every Wednesday night.
Truthfully, there is nothing that “Hott” about starting classes all over again. Next time, I will have a much juicer list of Hott events going on.
To wrap thing up I will now name the rest of the recipients for the Hottest Honors.
The Hottest guy of the week Ryan Dingle, because he is going to have a lot more jingle in his pockets now that he is leaving DU and going pro.
The Hottest girl of the week is Megan Kimble.
