As president of Club Sports, the largest student organization on campus, I would like to address concerns regarding the AUSA funding process.

Fresh out of Wednesday night’s Senate meeting, I have taken this opportunity to address the student population regarding the unprofessional manner in which your student fees are allocated.

Where to begin?

Shall I start with the poor communication surrounding the re-licensing application, in which our assigned Senate liaison did not make an effort to contact Club Sports?

Or should I address the three senators who ate Chinese food during our budget presentation?

Better yet, how about Senator Petraitis telling a student organization president to make his funding appeal process quick because he had somewhere else to be?

Still more amazing, a club with 1/5 the membership in comparison to Club Sports (Alpine Club) is receiving nearly the same funding.

As president, I can already feel the impact of next year’s minimal budget allocation.
