Confiscated fake I.D.

On Wednesday Oct. 11, at 8:33 a.m. Campus Safety responded to the report of contraband in the 2300 block of S. Race Street. An on-scene investigation revealed an unaffiliated party found false identification belonging to a DU student. Campus Safety confiscated the contraband. The Office of Citizenship and Community Standards will be notified.

Bookstore disruption

On Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 11:30 a.m., Campus Safety responded to the report of a suspicious party at the Driscoll Center. An on-scene investigation revealed the unaffiliated party has been disruptive in the DU Bookstore. The party was escorted from campus by Campus Safety officers.

Car theft

On Thursday, Oct. 11, at 12:09 a.m. Campus Safety and the Denver Police Department responded to the report of a theft in parking lot 401 near the Joy Burns Arena. An on-scene investigation revealed a DU student parked his personal vehicle in the lot on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 9:30 p.m. When he returned to retrieve his vehicle on Thursday, Oct. 11, at 12 a.m. he discovered it was missing. Disposition pending report review.

Underage drinking

On Thursday, Oct 11, at 12:17 a.m. Campus Safety responded to the report of an intoxicated party at Johnson-McFarlane Hall. An on-scene investigation revealed an underage and severely intoxicated DU student was unresponsive. Denver Cares transported the student to a detox facility for medical treatment. The Office of Citizenship and Community Standards will be notified.

Indecent exposure

On Thursday, Oct. 11, at 11:25 p.m. Campus Safety responded to the report of indecent exposure in the 1900 block of South High Street An on-scene investigation revealed two DU students were contacted by an unidentified nude male driving a silver sedan. Campus Safety contact the Denver Police Department with suspect information and completed a report. The Sexual Assault Survivor Advocate Network was notified.

Intoxicated student

On Friday, Oct. 12, at 12:22 a.m. Campus Safety responded to the report of an ill party at Centennial Halls. An on-scene investigation revealed an underage DU student appeared to be severely intoxicated. The student admitted to consuming alcohol earlier in the evening but claimed his difficulty walking was related to an ear infection. Paramedics responded and could not determine if the student was ill or intoxicated. The Office of Citizenship and Community Standards will be notified.

Drunk students

On Friday, Oct. 12, at 12:44 a.m. a Campus Safety officer was conducting a routine patrol in the 2200 block of South Josephine Street when he observed a party who appeared to be intoxicated. An on-scene investigation revealed the party was an underage and severely intoxicated DU student. Denver Cares transported the student to a detox facility for medical treatment. The Office of Citizenship and Community Standards will be notified.

Skinny dipping

On Friday, Oct. 12, at 2:45 a.m. a Campus Safety officer was conducting a routine patrol in the Harper Humanities Gardens when he observed two nude males exiting the ponds. An on-scene investigation revealed the males were DU students. The students admitted skinny dipping in the ponds and consuming alcohol. The students were counseled and released. The Office of Citizenship and Community Standards will be notified.

Stolen laptop

On Friday, Oct. 12, at 3:30 p.m. Campus Safety responded to the report of a theft at Craig Hall. An on-scene investigation revealed a laptop donated to the University was taken from an office between Aug. 8 and Aug. 31. It is unknown if the office was secure. The staff member declined to file a report with the Denver Police Department. Risk Management will be notified.

Assault and robbery

On Saturday, Oct. 13, at 3:15 p.m. a DU student reported a robbery. The student reported that on Oct. 12, at 12:05 a.m., upon leaving a party at a private residence in the 2400 block South Race Street, he was robbed and assaulted by two unidentified DU students. The student advised that he had provided a statement to the Denver Police Department while being treated for minor injuries at Swedish Medical Center. The Office of Citizenship and Community Standards will be notified. Disposition pending report.
