To Denver University students:
About 5 months approximately I don’t know why some students from your prestigious university that eventually go the bar called The Border have been accusing me of been a handicap and a person that is not able to understand good from bad., I have been asking myself who started this rumors.. I don’t have any idea but certainly this incident is perturbing my life in a way I never though possible. It is affecting not only my life now but my job and the rumors are running quick enough to people that know me from years.They doubted of me if I’m a normal person. I can’t walk through the 16th St. on downtown, I cant go to 24 hour gym or to Cherry Creek mall because guys from the university are talking about me, it seems like somehow they recognize me. First of all I want to let you guys know that I’m a normal person that finished high school in Peru (my country), I even went to the University of Lima in Peru to study administration , but I didn’t do well and I started a career in communications in San Ignacio de Loyola university in Lima where I was doing well enough to do a student interchange for one year to England where I was living in Essex Kelvedon (a city 50 minutes away from London in train) I learned to speak English there because there is much less Spanish speaking people. Later on I came to Colorado where I was living with my aunt, until I became independent myself. Now I’m living with some Peruvian friends. After all this do you still think that I’m a person with psychological disorders , do you think my fathers would let me stay here with this kind of problems.I don’t want problems , if you don’t believe in me I’m willing to do a psychological test to proof im not a handicap person. Actually I’m working in a parking located in 16th and Lincoln and in the evenings I work as a janitor in the Civic Center, in the weekend I work in other parking in 15th and Champa . I’m studying English in the mornings in Bridge located in Colorado Boulevard. This incident became bigger 3 weeks ago when they saw me driving out from The Border parking lot. I never though a night of drinking would become in something like this which is an inferno for me. Please put yourself in my place, imagine people around talking bad things of you. You can’t imagine how I feel; some students started this with bad faith.
