People commonly make a big mistake. They try to solve their problems by themselves.
I am about to do the unthinkable in a newspaper. Talk about faith.
You can’t see faith. You can’t smell it or touch it. The whole premise of faith is to trust that it’s there because in the end we will be rewarded for our faith.
Our country has strayed unfortunately from its original faith base. But that’s an editorial for another day.
This country was founded on the principle of freedom of religion and not freedom from religion.
Come on, “In God We Trust” is even on our currency.
Many people think that nature brought them into this world, and that there is no higher up. To even think of the vastness and complexity of the universe and even our own bodies is overwhelming, and cannot be explained by science.
The fact is, when we try and take on life without God, it gets worse. He, whether we see it or not, makes it obvious to us that we are nothing without Him and need his grace to survive and be what He made us to be.
Atheists will obsect to this concept. That is fine. They have the right to not believe.
Many people in this world, however, believe in God and the Christ.
A lot of people find their daith through certain events. My family’s faith as a whole grew after the death of my baby sister and upon the arrival of my now 16-year-old brother.
God once again proved that no matter what happens in life, He is the constant and that we can take comfort in Him. Yes everyone, everything will be alright.
He has a plan for all of us, whether we see it or not.
It is there and will make us better people to live life and give back to the one who gave his only son to carry the weight of the world on His shoulders.
We just celebrated Easter, a time of sorrow, reflection, and then hope. I encourage all of you to improve your relationship with God whether a relationship exists currently or not.
Take Him along for your walk through life.
Without His help, trust me, we don’t stand a chance. That is all recruits. Dismissed.
