Dear Editor,

While I think that it is wonderful the hockey team won the national championship and agree that we, as a school, have the right to flaunt our victoy, I have to stop and wonder why the ski team (also a national champion) was never featured in the rejoiceful pictures that appear each time www.du.edu opens, or why the ski team was not on the cover of our student paper. I fear that the majority of the student body does not even realize the success of our ski team, which is very unfortunate.

Would it be too much to see a few pictures of the ski team mixed among the hockey team, afterall they are national champions too!

Thanks for your input. We, too, think that the ski team deserve attention as national champions. It seems you may have missed it, but we did run a ski team photo and story on the front page of the March 29 edition of the Clarion.
