MEDICAL
 
On Tuesday, April 26, at 4:14 a.m., Campus Safety responded to a call from the Penrose Library regarding a student in need of medical assistance. Officers responded to the scene and provided assistance until the student was transported to Porter Hospital.
 
Theft
 
On Tuesday, April 26, at 2:41 p.m., Campus Safety responded to a call from Hilltop Hall regarding a stolen speaker. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with a student who reported that, on April 18, between 12:01 a.m. and 8 a.m., a non-functional speaker was taken from its unsecured location near the exit of the building. The student was advised to file an additional report with the Denver Police Department.
 
Facilities
 
On Tuesday, April 26, at 4:04 p.m., Campus Safety responded to an activated fire alarm at the University North Apartments. Upon arrival, officers noted that several residents failed to evacuate the building. No fire or smoke was found and the Denver Fire Department cleared the building for re-entry.
 
Drugs and alcohol
 
On Tuesday, April 26, at 10:45 p.m., Campus Safety responded to a call from Nagel Hall regarding a suspicious person in the building. Upon arrival, officers spoke with an unaffiliated male who appeared to be intoxicated. Officers contacted the Denver Police Department who arrived on the scene and transported the unaffiliated male to Denver Cares.
 
On Thursday, April 28, at 11:24 p.m., Campus Safety responded to a call from the Nelson Hall dock area regarding an intoxicated student. Upon arrival, officers made contact with one intoxicated student and two sober students who were all arguing loudly. Due to the intoxicated student’s lack of identification and level of intoxication, officers contacted the Denver Police Department for assistance. DPD arrived on the scene and transported the intoxicated student to Denver Cares. The sober students were released to return to their rooms. 
 
On Friday, April 29, at 2:05 a.m., Campus Safety observed a DU student who was visibly intoxicated between Ben Cherrington and the Iliff School of Theology. Due to the student’s level of intoxication and their suspicious behavior, the Denver Police Department was called to the scene. DPD arrived on the scene, cited the student for underage consumption of alcohol and transported them to Denver Cares.
 
On Sunday, May 1, at 2:40 p.m., Campus Safety observed two DU students drinking from an open bottle of champagne on East Asbury Ave. near the Shwayder Art Building. The officer ordered the students to stop, however the students fled the scene. Moments later, one of the students was apprehended by officers in Centennial Halls. The student admitted to the incident, identified the second student involved, and relinquished possession of a false identification card. The Denver Police Department was called to the scene and the student was taken to Denver Cares. Officers were unable to contact the second student.
 
Harassment
 
On Wednesday, April 27, at 4:14 p.m., Campus Safety responded to a call regarding a male exposing his genitalia in the alley between Centennial Halls and the Women’s College. Officers responded to the scene and pursued the suspect but were unable to apprehend him. Officers contacted the Denver Police Department who took reports from a group of students who had initially witnessed the incident.
 
On Saturday, April 30, at 11:05 p.m., Campus Safety responded to a call from Johnson-McFarlane Hall regarding a suspicious person outside the building. When officers responded to the scene, they spoke with a student who reported that, while changing clothing, she noticed a man outside her window videotaping her. The student provided officers with a detailed description of the suspicious person whom officers apprehended moments later. Campus Safety contacted The Denver Police Department who arrived on the scene and arrested the unaffiliated suspect.
 
Violence
 
On Thursday, April 28, at 12:18 a.m., Campus Safety responded to a call from the Driscoll Lawn regarding a possible domestic dispute involving two students. Officers responded to the scene and spoke with the two students in question. Neither student had physical injuries nor did they wish to speak with the Denver Police Department.
