A LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT
George W. Bush-President November 29, 2004 Dear Mr. President, November 11,2004 gave you all the power you need to carry out your program. You have done well in Afghanistan and Iraq, although there have been occurances that shake your faith. As has ben quoted, “These are the times that try men’s souls”;these are also the times that bring out greatness. The world has been held captive by dictators and terrorists. Until you became president there was no one to lead an opposition. Actually no country had the guts or the money to lead. This is your finest hour and you must stay the course. No let up until Iraq can control its own destiny. When this is done, the world will be ready for the next great leap forward to a peaceful society. Remember, Iraq is the key and a stable democracy must be in place. After this, all other world troubling countries will fall in line if for no other reason than that there is nowhere else to go.Yours truly, Charles E, MidlamSix Battle Stars-Bronze ArrowheadPurple Heart
