Dear Clarion,
Your expression of SAFE FOOD in the campus cafe (Nov. 9 issue) brings up several questions;
(1) Why do students get sick after eating in the cafeteria?
(2) What entity inspects the facilities at the cafeteria for sanitation?
(3) What control(s) are exercised on the person or persons conducting sanitization inspections if in fact inspections are done? Is the inspector FREE to make corrections without repercussions?
Sincerely,
uncle24@colorado.edu
Dear Clarion,
I have heard the news about female students getting attacked. It’s a bad deal. I would be happy to refer any female student to a great self-defense class.
The class isn’t karate. It is a heart pounding hour of very athletic, behavior-changing physical stress.
Just what the doctor ordered for those of us who are bored with posing at the gym…
Sincerely,
Dan Raabe,

Dear Clarion,
I am a 26-year-old writer from Chicago who is both interested and active within the music and art community in my city.
Recently, I have begun to notice that the prices we, as young consumers, are paying for our tickets appear to be growing exponentially, if not exorbitantly.
The worst example that happened to me personally, was when I realized that I was paying almost $45.00 to Ticketmaster to see a concert.
The ticket had a face value of only $35.00.
I believe there are many who share the same sentiment and encounter the same problems as fans of all musical genres.
Something must change, that something must be done.
It would appear we are the generation and demographic most affected by this current trend.
Sincerely,
Craig Turnwall
