Underage student caught intoxicated The Denver Police Department contacted Campus Safety at 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, after encountering a large group of people on the 2400 block of East Asbury Avenue. Everyone fled except for one DU student who was moderately intoxicated and underage. The student was cited for providing fake identification to an officer and for being underage and in posession of alcohol.

Shots fired near campus On Monday, Sept. 22 at 2:20 a.m. a Campus Saftey officer spoted three men unaffiliated with the school running north on South York Street. The men told the officer that they had heard shots fired on the 2000 block of South University Boulevard. The Denver Police Department was called in to investigate the incident, which occured outside the Pita Jungle.

Student bicycle stolen On Monday, Sept. 22, at 3:25 p.m., a student reported her bicycle missing from a rack near Centennial Halls where she had left it secured with an unapproved lock. The student was told to file a report.

Staff members report harassment Two DU staff members called Campus Safety to report harasment on Monday, Sept. 22, at 9:32 p.m., at the Sturm College of Law. The staff members had received several harassing phone calls from unidentified persons. A report has been filed.

Police cite underage student The Denver Police Department contacted Campus Safety on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 2:47 a.m. to request assistance with a severely intoxicated underage student. She was cited by the police for disturbing the peace and was transported to a detox facility.

Marijuana found at J-Mac Campus Safety encountered three students in a dorm room at Johnson-McFarlane Hall where the smell of marijuana had been reported. Though all three students denied smoking marijuana, one produced the drug and paraphernalia. The illegal substances were confiscated. Student harassed by another student A DU staff member called Campus Safety with a report of harassment on Thursday, Sept. 16, at 11:45 a.m. An on-scene investigation revealed that a DU student was being harassed by another DU student. That student will be reported to the Office of Citizenship and Community Standards.

Halls student sent to detox Campus Safety found an underage student severely intoxicated at Centeniall Halls after responding to a call on Friday, Sept. 26, at 12:36 a.m. The student was sent to Porter Hospital for treatment.

Underage student unconscious Campus Safety and the Denver Fire Department responded to a call at the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity house on campus on Friday, Sept. 26, at 2:41 a.m. They found an underage student unconscious. The student was under the influence of drugs and was severely intoxicated. The student was transported to Porter Hospital for medical treatment. Sketchy package Campus Safety responded to the report of a suspicous package at Sturm College of Law Sept. 29 at 5:53 a.m. An on-scene investigation revealed a DU staff member received a suspicious package from an unidentified party. The building was evacuated until the package was found not dangerous.
