Vehicle hit

On Friday, Jan. 23, at about 9:30 a.m., a DU Facilities staff member reported an unidentified vehicle struck a university vehicle while it was parked and unattended overnight in Lot 119, west of the Physics Building.

Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation.

Suspicious man

On Saturday, Jan. 24, at 11:50 p.m., Campus Safety reported an unidentified male acting suspiciously in Lot 103, north of Centennial Halls.

Campus Safety responded but the male fled the area.

Further investigation revealed the male had driven into the lot in a stolen vehicle and attempted to steal a car radio. Denver police was notified.

Strange person

On Saturday, Jan. 24, at about 1:45 p.m., a DU student reported another student was acting strangely at Nelson Hall.

Campus Safety responded. Counseling Services was notified.

Drinking affects

On Sunday, Jan. 25, at 12:49 a.m., a DU student reported another student was injured outside Nelson Hall.

Campus Safety responded and contacted the underage student who admitted to consuming some alcoholic beverages.

The Graduate Resident Director also responded. The underage student refused medical assistance.

Hammered gal

On Sunday, Jan. 25, at 3:11 a.m., an RA reported an underage DU student was intoxicated and ill in her residence at Centennial Halls.

Campus Safety and paramedics responded. The student was transported to Swedish Medical Center for treatment.

Pellet shooting

On Sunday, Jan. 25, at 10:10 a.m., Campus Safety reported that unknown person(s) shot pellets through several windows at Penrose Library. Facilities Management was notified.

Premature gate

On Monday, Jan. 26, at 4:57 p.m., a DU student reported that on Jan. 19, at about 8:30 a.m., a gate arm at the exit of Lot C, north of Centennial Halls, came down prematurely and damaged her personal vehicle as she was exiting the lot.

Campus Safety responded and completed an investigation. Parking Services was notified.

Car accident

On Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 6:50 p.m., a DU staff member was involved in a traffic accident while driving a university vehicle in the 2300 block of East Asbury Avenue.

There were no injuries. Denver police responded.

On Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 8:29 p.m., a DU student reported his girlfriend stole his laptop computer from the College of Law.

Campus Safety investigation is ongoing.
