Nestled in front of the Sturm College of Lawout on Driscoll Green lies a cottage-style building newly referred to as The Hub. The Hub was created as a place to relocate the services previously offered at the Driscoll Student Center which is now under construction. The small building now houses Campus Life & Student Engagement (CLIE) programs catered towards a common goal of student engagement and campus inclusiveness.

The foyer is the first to appear after entry. Furnished with quiet spaces, couches and free coffee, the foyer is the perfect place to drop by for a quick pick-me-up and doubles as a study room. Upstairs is where students can find student life programs, including, but not limited to,

“Our floor is specifically tailored for underrepresented students on campus,” says Roberto de Mata, a committee member of Volunteers in Partnership. “Collaborating and bouncing ideas off of each other to build a really cool program for our undergraduates to be involved and feel welcome—that’s always the fun part,” he answers when asked what the best part of his job is.

So the next time you’re nearby, feel free to grab some coffee and stay for a bit.
