On March 22, DU sent an email to the community announcing Tiffany Wen as the director for the Office of Internal Audit, effective immediately.

“Wen has been with DU since 2013, most recently as a senior auditor,” stated the email. “In her new role, she will be responsible for implementing the University’s internal audit program that examines and evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal controls, as well as the quality of performance in carrying out assigned responsibilities to achieve stated goals and objectives consistent with our vision, values and mission.”

According to its website, the Office of Internal Audit “reviews and audits University operations to identify opportunities to help DU improve operations and reduce risk, ultimately to increase the chances of meeting strategic goals.”
